Training Manager-National Guard Connectedness & Relationship Education System (WI, Madison)

They are seeking a Training Manager to oversee the implementation of the National Guard Connectedness and Relationship Education System, which involves planning, executing, and facilitating various training courses and programs for service members and their families.

Responsibilities
Under supervision of the National Training Manager, work closely with multiple stakeholders including National CARES Team to support the successful development, implementation and ongoing delivery and operations of NG CARES
Plan, schedule, execute, and facilitate NG CARES courses – at a minimum (locations tentative and subject to change): Executive Leader Course (1.5-day course) – 10 per year (possible locations -Idaho, Nevada, Georgia, California, Oklahoma, Virginia)
Coaching Basics Course (3-5 day course) – 15-20 per year (possible locations - Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Montana, Virginia, Georgia, California, Oklahoma, South Dakota, California, Texas, Vermont, New York, Indiana, Hawaii, Alaska)
First Line Leader Course (1-day course) – 3-5 per year each in support of NG CARES Area Training Managers
Total Health Basic Course (10-day course) – 1-2 states per year (locations to be determined)
ICW the National CARES Team, develop support program and training assistance for NG CARES programs. Design and/or update instructor guides, participant handouts, and slides
ICW the National CARES Team, review existing curriculum and suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of the organization
Assist in the process for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of the NG CARES programs through various assessment methods i.e., evaluations, surveys, observations, etc
ICW the National CARES Team, plan, schedule, execute, and instruct at least six Train-the-Trainer Courses. Tentative locations are Boise, Idaho; Fort McCoy, Wisconsin; and Columbus, Ohio
Meet timelines for administrative tasks, activities, and events
Collect, assimilate, and showcase data to objectively support lines of effort and resource funding
Maintain accurate data files and records to enable management to track the program’s progress/status
Create/coordinate online registration for events that require registration. Online registration will be completed utilizing Army 365 and Microsoft Forms
Attend all meetings, present trainings and reports as needed
Coordinate with internal/external networks to obtain resources for events, manuals, supplies and materials
Provide monthly documents and reports that are accurate and meet the suspense of the 1st of each month 98% of the time
Qualification
Required
Experience with the military is required. Experience can be gained through prior or current military service, member of a military family, or service as a military family volunteer
Must possess and maintain a valid state issued driver's license and a personally owned vehicle that can be utilized
Flexibility with working schedule is mandatory because it impacts the ability to support and serve military
Travel is anticipated for training. Travel will include regional and national to support mobile training team events
Exemplary skills in presenting/facilitating a wide variety of training to diverse audiences and the ability to motivate, communicate, and instruct/train others on facilitation
Ability to work as part of a team, strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated consultative approach: excellent communication and influencing skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with audiences at all levels
Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking virtual environment
Strong command of Microsoft Office and ability to produce deliverables that carry a 'stamp of excellence.'
Must have a valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
Ability to travel up to 50%, on average
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Leadership, Organizational Development, Talent Development, Adult Learning, Program Development, Human Development, Relational Leadership, Military Culture, or Program Management or related area
3-5 years of experience in related field
