Technical Recruiter (Founding / First In-House Recruiter)
Learning Consultant is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join as their first in-house recruiter and build the hiring engine from the ground up. This role involves designing and executing systems to support the company's growth, partnering closely with founders to hire top talent across various teams during a pivotal scaling phase.

Responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruiting across technical and business teams
Build scalable recruiting processes, including scorecards, interview loops, and ATS hygiene (Ashby)
Track and improve funnel performance metrics such as pass-through rates, time-to-hire, and quality-of-hire
Partner with founders on headcount planning and role definition
Source creatively through GitHub, Discord, open-source communities, and niche talent networks
Close top candidates by communicating the company’s mission, growth story, and equity value
Potential to grow into a Head of Talent role as the company scales
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a fast-growth, early-stage AI startup
Proven ability to recruit across technical and creative disciplines
Comfortable building systems and processes from scratch
Strong communication skills, high EQ, and a data-driven mindset
Passion for AI, creative tools, and building high-performing teams
