Responsibilities
Manage a high-volume caseload including working with legal assistants and paralegals
Provide legal services in elder law and estate planning, including drafting wills and various types of trusts
Handle probate and administration proceedings, estate and trust accountings, and preparation of estate tax returns
Participate in estate litigation and motion practice as needed
Make court appearances in different boroughs/counties
Qualification
Required
At least two (2) years of experience as an attorney
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload
Solid leadership skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Strong foundation in all aspects of elder law and estate planning
Experience in drafting wills, various types of trusts, and guardianship matters
Experience in probate and administration proceedings
Experience in estate and trust accountings
Preparation of estate tax returns
Court appearances in different boroughs/counties
Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
Annual required billable hours is 1650
Preferred
Experience in estate litigation/motion practice
Knowledge of Surrogate's Court forms/LexisNexis
Bilingual in Mandarin and Cantonese
