The role involves planning, facilitating, and executing validation activities to ensure quality in Electronic Systems and Controls for Electric Power Generation industries.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal customers and team members to develop validation test plans
Performing spec reviews with system engineers to determine test coverage
Test and verify components, system, and strategy operation on benches, in simulation labs, and in Genset test lab
Development of test scripts in the dSPACE environment
Perform system validation of solutions and strategies to insure 100% effectiveness
Identify root cause of field and lab issues
Develop solutions to problems identified during Validation Tests
Project schedule coordination with the team
FMEA engagement and proactive risk mitigation
NPI issue management
Field data and diagnostic monitoring
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in an accredited Electrical or Mechanical Engineering curriculum
> 2 year experience developing and/or working with embedded control system applications
Experience with dSPACE HIL Simulation/ Validation
Additional experience developing and/or working with embedded control system applications
Experience/ familiarity with Electric Power applications
Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
Emphasis on initiative and strong technical insight
Demonstrated clear commitment to customer satisfaction
Experience/ familiarity with embedded software development
Experience utilizing development and data analysis tools (e.g. CANape, CANcase, eDaq, etc.)
Strong analytical skills
Desire to work in a fast paced, team environment
