Responsibilities
Serve as a primary interface between project stakeholders and the I&C engineering team
Provide input to project schedules related to design effort, task duration, and resource requirements
Drive decisions related to vendor requests, design changes, equipment updates, and programming modifications
Act as the responsible engineer for assigned I&C equipment, guiding it through design, procurement, construction, and commissioning while ensuring design compliance
Oversee development of digital and analog control systems including DCS, PLC, and DAQ systems through review of vendor deliverables
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to select instrumentation for measuring process variables across facility systems
Coordinate with auxiliary systems teams to ensure proper power distribution to I&C equipment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline
5 to 20+ years of relevant PLC and/or DCS programming experience
Strong knowledge of I&C systems including hardware, software, theory of operation, environmental and seismic qualification, and plant startups
PLC and/or DCS programming experience
