Embedded Systems Engineer — Avionics (Internship)
SQUID3 Space is a premier provider of advanced thermal control materials for satellites and space systems. You will support rapid prototyping and flight hardware design & fabrication for an ISS active payload experiment launching in 2026.

Responsibilities
Lead the design and fabrication of spaceflight electronics, PCB, sensors, and thermal control devices
Develop flight control codes for an active payload for the International Space Station (ISS)
Manage Requirements for Low SWaP System Design (Sensor Selection / Sensor Placement / Power Supply)
PCB Design and Mechanical Integration
EEE Parts and Materials Selection and Sourcing
Hardware/Software Functional Testing
Qualification
Required
Current Bachelors or Masters student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent fields
Programming in C/C++
Experience with electro-mechanical products, embedded microcontroller and communication interfaces (e.g., UART, RS-422, RS-485)
