Responsibilities
Manage the company's debt portfolio, including loan agreements, credit lines, and other debt instruments
Analyze and manage financial risks associated with debt, including interest rate risk and credit risk
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the company’s capital structure and minimize borrowing costs
Monitor and forecast future debt needs, ensuring timely renewals or refinancing
Ensure compliance with all debt covenants and reporting requirements
Maintain strong relationships with key lending institutions
Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management on debt activities
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including property management, accounting, and legal departments, to ensure alignment and execution of financing strategies
Qualification
Required
Expert in debt financing, loan structures, and risk management
Has extensive experience in evaluating financial risks and devising strategies to mitigate them, ensuring optimal loan structuring
Excellent at analysis and problem-solving
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions that drive business success
Knowledgeable about real estate capital markets
In-depth understanding of market trends, investment opportunities, and regulatory changes that impact the real estate sector
Strong communicator with good relationship-building skills
Proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and industry stakeholders
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and handling a diverse workload efficiently without supervision
Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial modeling software
Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and various financial modeling tools, enabling accurate and efficient financial analysis and reporting
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or related field required
At least 5 years of relevant experience in real estate finance, FP&A, or related field required
