Start in 2026 SummerFarm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a Data Analytics Intern for the summer of 2026. The intern will assist in creating and maintaining reports and data analysis for life, annuity, and wealth management metrics, while gaining real-world experience and exposure to various corporate functions.

Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and maintenance of life, annuity, and wealth management metrics, reports, and data analysis
Provide support to the Life Analytics team with a focus on Life Operations reporting needs
Perform tasks or work on projects within the hired work area
Participate in learning experiences across the assigned division and the organization
Qualification
Required
Be a current undergraduate college student, working toward a college degree in data analytics, statistics, or a similar field
Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel required
Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be a self-starter, take initiative and be highly motivated
Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
Be able to work full-time (8am-4:30pm M-F) summer 2026 and 15-20 hours/week during the 2026-27 school year
Be able to work in-person at our home office in West Des Moines, IA
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis
