Responsibilities
Serve as IT Analyst Associate for assigned projects and assist in performing moderately complex data and system analysis
Support the creation and balancing of derived fields, process flows, and data diagrams
Assist in software development tasks to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
Work closely with management and project teams throughout project lifecycles to ensure user involvement and communication
Analyze client and customer needs; assist in gathering requirements and developing solutions
Perform unit testing of simple to moderately complex code
Program and test using Informatica, PL/SQL, Progress, and other specified programming languages
Document all development activities and changes for clear historical tracking
Investigate issues and develop timely resolutions in coordination with technical teams
Follow departmental standards and design/development guidelines
Provide feedback to IT management or Team Lead on process improvements
Collaborate with project managers to ensure milestones are met accurately and on time
Support the organization’s quality program(s)
Perform other duties as assigned
Travel as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Proficiency in Informatica and SQL
Working knowledge of UNIX command line interface
Strong knowledge of PL/SQL or similar procedural languages
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
High attention to detail, patience, and persistence
Understanding of business processes and constraints
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred, majoring in Information Systems or Computer Science
Coursework in relevant programming languages and/or business analysis preferred
Education in interpreting user requirements, business applications design, and development strongly preferred
Knowledge of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, C#/C++/C, Open Source, Korn Shell Script, Perl, or Progress 4GL highly preferred
