They are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate for a Process Engineer CO-OP position, which involves evaluating and implementing programs for product and process improvements.

Responsibilities
Perform product and process characterization
Perform work that involves conventional types of plans, investigations, structures, or equipment with relatively few complex features that have precedents and require investigation of a limited scope
Complete assignments that usually include one or more of the following: testing of materials, preparation of workbook and process specifications, process study, research investigations, report preparation, and other activities of limited scope requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed
May coordinate the work of technicians or others who assist in specific assignments
Maintain accurate records of data, procedures, experiments, tests, and findings for future reference with record retention, which may include the use of lab notebooks
Analyze data and utilize to ensure continuous improvements in products, processes, and systems under the guidance of more experienced engineers or supervisor/manager
Prepare regular periodic reports that summarize outcomes, process improvements, achievement, challenges, and roadblocks
Participate in process troubleshooting activities and propose solutions to operational challenges
Support the implementation of safety procedures and guidelines within the manufacturing facility
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency and product quality
Learn and adhere to industry regulations and standards related to chemical manufacturing processes
Qualification
Required
Junior or Senior working toward a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Chemical Engineering; or other related degree
Ability to take a semester off of school to work full time hours Summer 2026 - Fall 2026
