The role involves inventory control, equipment management, and job staging, working closely with field crews, project teams, and vendors.

Responsibilities
Assist with warehouse organization, material handling, and daily operations
Track inventory using spreadsheets and Asset Panda
Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels
Prepare and prep materials for field crews (splicing, OSP construction, cable pulls)
Manage fiber-optic reel inventory, client stock, and subcontractor stock
Check in/out tools and test equipment; monitor condition and usage
Work with vendors to compare pricing and order cost-effective materials
Receive shipments, verify packing slips, and coordinate returns/RMAs
Provide basic mechanical support to Fleet Manager/Mechanic (when needed)
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment
Qualification
Required
1–3 years warehouse or logistics experience (telecom, utilities, or construction preferred)
Strong organization and attention to detail
Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic inventory systems
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet
Basic mechanical knowledge is a strong plus
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must pass a drug test
