Project Coordinator - $1,000 Sign-On Incentive

The Project Coordinator for Fire Rescue Logistics Division conducts special project assignments and provides administrative support to enhance division operations, performing research, analysis, and evaluation of programs and projects.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Maintains log of relevant activities
Assist the District Maintenance Supervisor and Project Manager in the management, scheduling, and supervision of technicians and on-call labor
Responsible for special projects management, which includes obtaining pricing, pricing comparisons, administrative paperwork, technical drawings, vendor contact, site visits, and prototype design
Coordinates and directs vendors
As directed, assists certified personnel in controlling access to the facility by staff and visitors
As directed by certified staff, will notify appropriate personnel in a crisis situation
At the supervisor's direction, may coordinate services with outside agencies, i.e., Emergency Operations, Facilities Management, etc
Participate in department on-call rotation
Performs other duties as required

Required

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Facilities Management or a closely related field
Three years of experience using HAVC building automation software and work order tracking software systems
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License
The employee will be required to perform mandatory emergency standby duty on a rotational basis, including nights, weekends and holidays

Preferred

Experience with computers and using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with using HAVC building automation software
Experience with using work order tracking software systems
Certifications in any of the following trades: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, fire sprinkler or door/gates
