Responsibilities
Assist with basic facility maintenance tasks such as workstation setup, fixtures, racks, lighting replacements, and general repairs under supervision
Support assembly and disassembly of equipment using hand and power tools following work instructions and drawings
Assist with staging, moving, and setting up equipment and materials across the production floor
Support external vendors and contractors by coordinating access, preparing work areas, and monitoring work for safety compliance
Perform basic inspections of facilities, tools, and equipment, report issues or safety concerns to supervision
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in alignment with 5S and safety standards
Follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies at all times
Assist with documenting completed work and communicating status updates to supervisors
Support production and facilities projects as assigned to meet operational needs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
0–2 years of experience in facilities, manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or maintenance support roles (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification upon hire
Basic computer skills, including the ability to perform simple IT-related setup tasks such as connecting monitors, keyboards, peripherals, and basic workstation setup
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. and stand or move for extended periods
Mechanical and hands-on problem-solving ability
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize assigned tasks
Clear communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment
Preferred
Prior experience supporting facilities, maintenance, or production environments
Experience working with vendors or contractors in an industrial setting
Familiarity with basic safety practices or 5S/Lean manufacturing concepts
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
