Abstracting - analyzes, and codes demographic, patient and cancer related information, treatment and staging from multiple databases on all eligible cancer cases seen and/or diagnosed at AHS
Comply and follow guidelines of national standard setters
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Current/valid Oncology Data Specialist credential and be in good standing with the National Cancer Registrars Association
Preferred
Associates or bachelor's degree in Cancer Registry Management, Medical Science or related field
1 year of experience in Cancer Registry
Experience working in a customer service environment or relevant area
