Responsibilities

Lead the company's secure remote access group within the broader Application Delivery Networking team, providing technical direction, design guidance, and operational oversight
Implement and maintain enterprise remote access solutions based on Zero Trust principles, including ZTNA and SASE, while ensuring compliance and reliability across hybrid and cloud environments
Mentor engineers, serve as the escalation point for complex issues, and drive automation and process improvements
Collaborate with security, network, and application teams, document procedures, and evaluate emerging technologies to advance Zero Trust operations

Required

5+ years of experience with enterprise remote access, VPN, or Zero Trust technologies
Experience leading technical teams or mentoring junior engineers
Experience in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles and technologies
Experience with SASE platforms and cloud-delivered security services
Experience with remote access monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools
Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewall policies, and identity-based access controls
Ability to develop and enforce operational procedures and ensure compliance with security policies
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
HS diploma or GED

Preferred

Experience with leading ZTNA or SASE vendors, such as Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Versa SASE, Netskope, or Cato Networks
Experience in federal or regulated environments
Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, in hybrid network deployments
Knowledge of compliance frameworks, such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, FISMA, and security maturity models, such as CMMC
Knowledge of multi-factor authentication (MFA), SAML authentication, endpoint security, and identity provider integration, such as Azure AD/Entra ID, or Ping
Security certifications, such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or vendor-specific ZTNA/SASE certifications
