Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise all field activities on assigned bridge projects
Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity and efficiency
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets
Lead daily safety meetings and enforce company and industry safety standards on-site
Manage and mentor field crews, subcontractors, and foremen, fostering teamwork and accountability
Monitor work progress, quality, and productivity, making adjustments as needed to meet milestones
Review and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications, providing direction to field staff
Oversee site logistics, traffic control, staging, and sequencing of work activities
Maintain accurate daily reports, including labor, equipment, and material usage
Coordinate with project managers and engineers to resolve design, constructability, or scheduling issues
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders

Required

7+ years of heavy civil construction experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Proven expertise in bridge construction, including concrete, structural steel, pile driving, and foundations
Strong knowledge of DOT standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with construction scheduling, reporting, and field documentation tools
Strong commitment to jobsite safety and crew training
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing project conditions
Willingness to travel or relocate as required by project location
High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred

Technical training or degree in construction management
