Design strategy and set goals for growth
Control budgets and optimize expenses
Ensure employees are motivated and productive
Hires, trains, and coaches/mentors new employees
Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
Handles conflict resolution, discipline, and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
Plans and organizes daily activities related to service and operations
Ensures all vehicles and rigs are properly maintained and in good working order
Determines labor and scheduling needs to meet service and operations goals
Purchases materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency and safety
Performs high quality insulation removal and installation as needed and inspects jobs upon completion
Enforces Koala Insulation operations manual and policies
Ensures that all legally required documents are kept up to date
Provides continuous improvement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety
Performs other related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a General Manager or similar operational management role
Experience in planning and budgeting
Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
Strong analytical ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Problem-solving aptitude
Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set service goals
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
General Construction skills
Take-offs skills
1 to 3 years of related experience required
Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting
Must be able to access and navigate the jobsite
Working environment may be subject to high temperatures, confined spaces, and heights
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Preferred
Experience using a CRM preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management, or related field preferred, but not required
