Lead and Inspire: Coordinate and guide a team of R&D Project Managers, ensuring efficient workflow, timely delivery, and exceptional client service
Own the Process: Manage projects from start to finish—tracking progress, overseeing deadlines, and optimizing labor allocation for maximum efficiency
Be a Trusted Expert: Support client vetting, perform benefit analyses, and advise on technical eligibility for R&D credits
Stay on the Cutting Edge: Monitor federal and state tax law changes, manage internal templates, and lead training to keep the team sharp and compliant
Deliver Results: Conduct in-depth technical interviews, assess qualifying activities, and prepare comprehensive R&D credit documentation and calculations
Build Relationships: Develop lasting client partnerships through proactive communication and value-driven consulting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
5–7 years of relevant experience (R&D tax credit, accounting, or consulting a plus)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF editing software
Experience communicating with technical teams and executives alike
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication—both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision
A proactive, self-starting mindset and a collaborative spirit
Preferred
CPA or J.D. candidacy preferred
