40+ Double Dutch Club Intern - Summer 2026
40+ Double Dutch Club is a Chicago-based community organization focused on joy, movement, and connection through double dutch jump rope and cultural programming. They are seeking paid interns to support community engagement, events, and digital content, blending in-person and virtual collaboration.
Non-profit Organization Management
Responsibilities
Support planning and execution of community events and activations
Assist with social media content creation and scheduling
Help with basic marketing, research, and outreach tasks
Support updates to presentations, websites, and creative materials
Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions
Qualification
Required
Must live within the City of Chicago (not suburbs)
Ability to provide proof of Chicago residency (please do not click apply if you don't live in Chicago)
Acceptable examples include mail, driver's license, or state ID
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Interest in marketing, events, community engagement, or digital media
Preferred
Familiarity with Canva, PowerPoint, and social platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook
Willingness to learn new tools and techniques
Creative mindset and attention to detail

With over 100 subclubs in the US (and a few in Canada, Germany and Israel), the 40+ Double Dutch Club invites women over the age of 40 to get together to take a break from “adulting” by jumping Double Dutch, hula hooping, playing hopscotch, dancing, praying and just having a good time together! - We invite women over 40 who have EVER (even if it was decades ago) or NEVER (there are other things to do or we can teach ANYONE to jump) jumped Double Dutch to join the movement! - We invite companies who care about Mental Health, Physical Health, Women and their families or communities, supporting small businesses, supporting Black-owned businesses, providing unique and interactive entertainment for concerts, festivals, corporate-team building events, or educational and youth-focused organizations to partner with us.
