Sr. IT Network Engineer
This innovative aerospace company is building next-generation, fully reusable launch systems designed to make space transportation sustainable, reliable, and scalable. As a Senior IT Network Engineer, you'll design, deploy, and maintain robust network infrastructure for enterprise systems and launch operations, collaborating across teams to ensure secure, high-performance networks.

Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, cloud networking)
Ensure network security through monitoring, proper configuration, and adherence to frameworks (NIST)
Collaborate with IT and security teams to maintain secure network access policies
Lead upgrades, migrations, and integrations to support growth and evolving tech
Implement automation and monitoring tools to proactively detect and resolve issues
Document network configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures
Provide on-site support for IT, avionics, and software teams at the Cape Canaveral launch complex
Occasional travel to additional facilities as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of network engineering experience (designing, monitoring, troubleshooting enterprise LAN/WAN)
Strong expertise in routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, ARP)
Hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, etc.), VPNs, and enterprise Wi-Fi
Multi-vendor experience (Fortinet, MikroTik, Cisco, Ubiquiti)
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues independently
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident)
Willingness to relocate to Cape Canaveral, FL
Preferred
Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
AWS networking experience
Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux
Experience in regulated industries (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
