License Eligible Clinician
San Diego Youth Services is dedicated to supporting youth and families in need, and they are seeking a License Eligible Clinician to develop and implement integrated treatment approaches. The role involves maintaining clinical files, engaging families in services, and supporting youth in achieving independence and successful housing placement.

Responsibilities
The development, implementation, and evaluation of an integrated treatment approach for youth and families enrolled in services
Follow-up on referrals to the Safe Family Services program and engage youth and families in services
Maintain clinical files with accurate and timely records. Document all contacts with each parent and youth in accordance with SDYS documentation standards
Support Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) with developing skills and life plans that will support independence and successful permanent housing placement free from abuse
Conduct outreach to youth and community organizations
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends
Must be willing to provide transportation and community-based services
Assist in maintaining and developing group curriculum and facilitate group psychotherapy
Other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in counseling or social service-related field
Experience providing supportive services to parents, youth, and families
Must be registered or in the process of being registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an Associate
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends
Must be willing to provide transportation and community-based services
Adhere to and uphold the rigorous standards of SDYS as mandated by its mission, purpose, guiding principles and standards of quality
Maintain confidentiality and privacy standards of service partner protected health information and other applicable information and material in accordance to agency and center policies, and applicable regulations and laws including HIPAA
Effectively communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
Possess flexibility to accomplish job responsibilities in several work environments, whether it be from home, on the road, or in an office

Knowledge of Child and Family Wellbeing (CFWB) formerly CWS processes
Knowledge of Trauma – Focused CBT
Knowledge of parent – child attachment therapy
Knowledge of child behavioral issues
Knowledge of positive parenting services
