Responsibilities
On-site at branch daily, working with internal associates and branch leadership to drive efficient operations
Leads the team of route drivers, ensuring we maintain appropriate staffing levels with safe, well-trained drivers to meet the needs of our clients
Serves as the branch’s fleet champion, ensuring key performance metrics in sustainability, finance, and safety are met or exceeded
Leads the associate care center, ensuring the appropriate leader is in place to connect with drivers and daily tasks are completed according to Canteen policy
Knowledge of all equipment, fleet and technology used by team to run effective routes and operate an efficient warehouse
Skilled in preparing reports to be used in presentations to associates or leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B. A.)
3 years' related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Needs to be able to write routine and correspondence
Ability to speak clearly and effectively before groups of associates and/or customers is required
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Preferred
Must be highly organized, possess strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to change and thrive in a dynamic environment, while maintaining a positive and patient attitude
Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Assertive, yet capable of building and maintaining effective relationships
