Customer Success Manager
Stockford Recruitment is partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed GovTech business that is addressing challenges in the US housing ecosystem. They are seeking a Founding Customer Success Manager to own customer relationships, build trust with stakeholders, and develop the Customer Success function from scratch as the company scales.
Responsibilities
Own customer relationships end-to-end: onboarding β adoption β renewal β expansion
Build deep trust with senior stakeholders and frontline users in complex environments
Lead successful onboarding and implementation alongside product and engineering
Proactively identify and manage risk before it becomes an issue
Prove customer value through usage, outcomes, and success metrics
Partner with Sales on renewals and expansion opportunities
Act as the voice of the customer into product roadmap decisions
Build the entire Customer Success function from scratch β playbooks, health scores, cadence, and process
Represent the business in executive meetings, training sessions, and industry events
Qualification
Required
5+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or similar (enterprise or public sector software)
Proven ownership of renewals and account growth
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Comfortable operating with ambiguity in early-stage environments
Data-driven mindset with a strong customer lens
Willingness to travel heavily in the first 6 months (tapering thereafter)
