Receptionist - PT

Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay is seeking a Receptionist who will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, donors, and partners. This role is essential in providing administrative and logistical support to the Development Team while ensuring a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors and volunteers with professionalism and warmth
Manage the daily check-in process for volunteers, ensuring a smooth and organized experience
Notify staff of scheduled visitors, meetings, and campus tours promptly
Answer and direct phone calls, voicemails, and inquiries promptly and accurately
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and office supplies inventory
Input data accurately into CRM system (e.g. Blackbaud or similar)
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages; prepare and organize envelopes for mailing as needed
Support event planning and logistics for donor meetings and campus tours
Assist with donor stewardship activities, including thank-you letters, gift processing, and database updates
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of shared spaces, including the coffee station and lobby (lights on, TVs activated, supplies stocked)
Monitor and replenish inventory of snacks, coffee, and office supplies to support staff and visitors
Operate and monitor the Doorbird entry system to ensure safe and secure campus access
Set up meeting spaces in advance with necessary supplies and presentation needs

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
1–2 years of experience in office administration, customer service, or nonprofit support
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage with guests professionally
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems a plus
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Passion for JA Tampa Bay's mission and commitment to excellence
