Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Data Warehouse projects
Perform database testing to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for testing using one framework
Validate ETL processes, ensuring data is correctly extracted, transformed, and loaded
Work with Big Data/Hadoop ecosystems to test large-scale data processing
Identify, document, and track defects to ensure quality standards
Collaborate with data engineers, ETL developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver quality outputs
Conduct performance testing and capacity planning if required
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Data Warehouse testing and QA
Strong expertise in SQL for data validation and querying
Good knowledge and experience with ETL processes and tools
Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies, particularly Hadoop
Automation experience using at least one testing framework (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, JUnit, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
