Responsibilities
Prepare civil designs for land development and renewable energy projects
Develop construction plans, technical reports, specifications, and engineering documentation
Perform grading, drainage, utility, horizontal control, and erosion control design
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D (required) for plan production and design
Floodplain and hydraulic modeling experience with HEC-RAS and/or FLO-2D (preferred, not required)
Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and internal team members
Support permitting and agency coordination efforts
Conduct site visits as needed (approximately 0–15% travel)
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and projects with limited supervision, while seeking guidance when appropriate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
4-8 years of civil/site design experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Preferred
Floodplain and hydraulic modeling experience with HEC-RAS and/or FLO-2D
Experience with Colorado land development and/or renewable energy projects
