Responsibilities

Lead production teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient operations
Manage cheese making processes, recipes, and production schedules
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams on equipment, capital projects, and process improvements
Mentor and develop supervisors and operators to support operational goals
Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation standards
Monitor costs, productivity, and key performance metrics
Support problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Communicate operational changes, quality issues, and project updates to plant leadership

Required

3+ years managerial experience in a dairy or food manufacturing facility
Knowledge of cheese making, packaging, and processing technology
Experience with lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma)
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, lead teams through change, and work flexible hours

Preferred

Bachelor's degree
High School Diploma with relevant experience considered
