Responsibilities
Under general guidance and direction of the assigned Residential Appraisal Supervisor, performs essential work processes in support of property assessment and valuation. Incumbents may be assigned to specific duties in New Construction or Detailed Review roles
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or higher, or equivalency as defined in Utah State Code
Two (2) years of work experience as a residential or commercial appraiser
Applicants must possess certification as Certified Residential Appraiser or higher with the Utah State Department of Commerce
Applicants must obtain designation as Ad Valorem Residential Appraiser with the Utah State Tax Commission within two (2) years of employment
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and obtain a valid State of Utah driver's license within sixty (60) days of employment
Selected applicants will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Preferred
Preference may be given to applicants with work experience in assessing
