Responsibilities
Builds and manufactures scenic elements safely and effectively, supporting productions of the Department of Theatrical Arts for Stage & Screen, the Department of Dance, the Department of Music, and the Department of Art & Design. Facilitates the School of the Arts' needs
Maintains the Scenic Workshop facilities and tools, and facilitates the safe storage and transfer of scenic elements and scenic properties to their designated storage areas at both on-campus and off-campus locations
Strives to continue to develop skills within Scenic Workshop while maintaining current task completion
Performs any other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
One year of experience in the field of scenic craftsmanship or any related field of building and/or construction
Preferred
One or more semesters of Stagecraft
