Accounting Intern
VerdeGo Aero is an aircraft propulsion technology company committed to powering the highest performance electric aircraft of all sizes. They are seeking an Accounting Intern to support the daily functions of their business office, requiring detail-oriented skills and a strong interest in accounting and financial reconciliation.

Responsibilities
Entry of invoices into online payment platform
Process vendor invoices
Match invoices to purchase orders
Prepare payments and verify expense reports
Initiating returns/refunds with vendor
Reconcile bank statements against general ledger entries
Identify and resolve discrepancies
Assist in monthly closing processes
Assist with audit requests
General purchases on behalf of the Company
Communication with vendors, shipping companies, and internal teams regarding shipping & receiving logistics
Electronic document filing
Qualification
Required
High-School diploma required
Educational experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Understanding of business processes for purchasing and payment
Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion with confidential information
Familiarity with online banking functions
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred
College degree, or some college education in Accounting/Finance
Knowledge of organizational purchasing, processing, & logistics
Prior knowledge / experience with operating Deltek Costpoint
Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
Understanding of internal controls or audit processes
Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations)
