In this role, you are responsible for posting supplier invoices and employee reimbursements in a timely manner while providing additional accounting support to the department.

Responsibilities
Process supplier invoice utilizing 3-way match within the ERP system ensuring accuracy
Collaborate with supply chain and quality to resolve invoice discrepancies
Prepare and process employee expense reports
Ensure credit is received for outstanding debit memos
Prioritize payments according to cash discount potential, operational needs, and payment terms
Verify supplier accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues and respond to internal questions about account balances
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Account reconciliations including but not limited to monthly credit card statements
Support 1099 tax reporting and provide documentation for internal or external audits
General administrative and accounting duties as required
Other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and/or two years' experience within manufacturing environment in a similar role
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to positively interact with staff, customers, suppliers, and other external personnel
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, time management, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Inquisitive mind to investigate discrepancies ensuring accurate entries are recorded
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiar with ERP systems
