This role is essential for translating structural engineering concepts into detailed drawings that guide construction, requiring skills in CAD and BIM software. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accurate and compliant documentation for various building types.

Responsibilities
Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software, under the supervision of structural engineers
Draft construction documents including foundations, framing, floor plans, sections, and details
Update and revise drawings based on markups and design changes from engineers and project managers
Assist with 3D modeling of structural systems for coordination and visualization
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other drafters to support multidisciplinary coordination
Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, compliance with company standards, and adherence to applicable codes
Maintain organized documentation and version control of project drawings
Qualification
Required
Associates degree or technical diploma in drafting, design technology, or a related field
2+ years of experience in structural drafting, preferably in an architectural or engineering firm
Exposure to projects in commercial, healthcare, residential, or institutional sectors
Proficiency in Revit; experience with BIM workflows is a plus
Familiarity with structural systems including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings and specifications
Experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks, or other coordination tools
Knowledge of local building codes and construction standards
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
