Salesforce Commercial Banking Industry Leader

Responsibilities
Define and refine Plative's Salesforce banking value proposition for mid-market and regional banks/credit unions
Partner closely with Salesforce (AEs, RVPs, Industry teams) to create and execute joint account plans in the 300M to multi billion deposit range
Support strategic pursuits: discovery, visioning, exec-level pitches, solution storytelling, and deal shaping
Create and deliver thought leadership (POVs, webinars, events, content) that positions Plative as a specialist in commercial and retail banking
Translate banking business drivers (commercial, business, retail, lending, treasury, payments) into Salesforce-led solutions and repeatable offerings
Define standard banking plays, reference architectures, and delivery patterns that can be scaled by the broader team
Advise on which Salesforce products and partner apps should anchor our banking play (e.g., FSL, FSC, nCino/Loan origination, etc., as relevant)
Act as the primary internal banking authority for sales, presales, and delivery teams
Mentor solution architects and consultants on banking processes, regulations, and best practices
Partner with delivery leadership to ensure what we sell is deliverable and sets us up for successful referenceable clients
Help define the hiring plan for the future banking team (architects, consultants, PMs) as the practice grows
Build C level and SVP level relationships at target banks and credit unions
Lead executive workshops to connect banking strategy and operating models to Salesforce capabilities
Provide executive-level advocacy for strategic banking clients and lead early-stage implementations as a billable expert to establish a foundation for the future delivery team
Qualification
Required
Deep direct experience working inside a bank or credit union (e.g., Commercial / Business Banking, Retail Banking, Lending, Treasury, Payments) in a leadership or senior individual contributor role
Proven Salesforce financial services experience as an industry strategist, industry executive, practice lead, or equivalent at Salesforce or a Salesforce SI
Demonstrated success driving go-to-market and revenue: influencing pipeline, shaping deals, and presenting to executive stakeholders at banks
Strong executive presence and communication skills; comfortable in boardroom-level conversations with Salesforce plus bank leadership
Preferred
Prior responsibility for building or leading a Salesforce banking practice at a consulting/implementation partner
Experience managing or overseeing delivery teams (architects, consultants, PMs) for banking projects, even if not hands-on billable
Experience in the mid market / regional banking and credit union segment specifically (not only large tier 1 banks)
