Responsibilities
Support the design, analysis, testing, and development of mechanical systems and components used in Flock’s products
Assist with CAD-based design
Perform engineering analyses such as stress and thermal calculations
Support prototype fabrication and assembly
Participate in testing and evaluation of new and existing designs
Contribute to real-world projects by assisting with materials and component selection, technical documentation, system-level troubleshooting, and participation in design reviews and brainstorming sessions
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles and concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
Basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) is preferred
Experience with 3D printers and basic machine shop tools
