Responsibilities
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc regulatory reports, including but not limited to:
Federal Reserve reports (e.g., FR Y-15, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, FFIEC 002, FFIEC 009, FFIEC 019, FR 2644, FR 2900)
U.S. Department of the Treasury reports (TIC Reports)
U.S. Department of Commerce reports (e.g., BE-605, BE-15, BE-125)
Reconcile regulatory reporting data to the general ledger, validate static data, and perform variance analysis
Monitor and implement changes to regulatory reporting instructions and accounting standards issued by regulatory authorities
Assist in maintaining and updating procedural documentation related to new and existing regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance
Track assigned tasks and projects to ensure timely completion of all deliverables
Coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders across the organization
Provide ongoing support to management and team members as needed
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of relevant professional experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Working knowledge of regulatory reporting and/or financial reporting
Basic understanding of financial products, including loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, money market instruments, and repurchase agreements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas is required: Big Four or large regional accounting firms (with banking or capital markets clients), Financial accounting, Product control, Regulatory reporting within a banking environment
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Alteryx or Power BI is a plus
CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred
