Responsibilities
Prepare, submit, and track construction loan draws
Monitor project budgets, job costs, and cost-to-complete
Track cash flow and project-level financial performance
Maintain draw documentation, invoices, and lien releases
Prepare Proformas and compute expected returns
Maintain accounting for luxury rental properties and brokerage operations
Track rental income, operating expenses, and property performance
Manage commission expense tracking for sales operations
Maintain accurate books across multiple entities
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for ownership
Perform budget vs. actual and cash flow analysis
Identify discrepancies, cost overruns, and control improvements
Manage day-to-day accounting in QuickBooks and Excel (required)
Code and reconcile expenses by project and entity
Process vendor payments (checks, ACH, wires)
Coordinate with external accountants on tax filings and audits
Maintain lender- and audit-ready documentation
Support entity setup and banking for new projects
Improve systems for expense tracking, reporting, and document management
Qualification
Required
5+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably in real estate development or construction
Strong experience with construction loan draws and job-cost accounting
Experience with multi-entity accounting
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred
High-end residential or luxury spec home development
Construction lending and draw processes
Experience with Trustpoint and Buildertrend
Rental portfolio or brokerage accounting experience
