Associate Interior Designer

STUHF Studio, LLC is seeking detail-loving, design fanatics to join their team as an Associate Interior Designer. This role involves operational and design support, ensuring projects run smoothly from concept to completion while maintaining high standards for design quality and customer service.

Design

Responsibilities

Collaborate and communicate with clients, vendors, and team members for interior design and furniture projects
Manage interior design or furniture assignments to meet project deadlines and deliverables
Lead a project from start to finish, including modeling and rendering interior spaces, selecting finishes and fixtures, preparing presentations and design packages, producing full construction drawings
Coordinate and communicate with project consultants and/or partnering design firms
Select and specify furniture for design and/or FF&E bid packages
Prepare preliminary working budget for furniture scopes

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from an accredited school
4-7 years of Interior Design experience at architecture or design firm
General knowledge and experience in all phases of the design process (SD through CD)
Proficiency in Sketch-Up, Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Excel, and Bluebeam
Experience in selecting interior finishes and fixtures (lighting, plumbing, and appliances)
Knowledge and experience in producing code compliant construction documents including, but not limited to architectural floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, interior elevations, casework elevations, interior details, and necessary finish / fixture schedules
General knowledge of furniture specifications with experience in preparing FF&E packages on commercial projects
Must be self-motivated, well organized, and a clear communicator
Must have the desire to take ownership of projects and related tasks with a desire to grow in their professional career

Preferred

NCIDQ certification preferred
