Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities expected of all faculty include teaching course load as assigned
To teach classes as assigned by designated supervisor
To prepare appropriate lesson plans for each course in accordance with approved course outcomes
To develop a relationship with students & staff that is professional and encourages teacher/student communication
To assist in the recruitment of students, as appropriate
When agreed upon, and as appropriate, to assist in the evaluation of curriculum and instructional performance
To represent the college in a professional manner throughout the communities and college district by promoting a positive public image
To complete all required annual CMC training courses. Ex. Title IX, Digital Accessibility, and Data Security and Privacy
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
An equivalent/applicable combination of education and/or experience to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position required with teaching in continuing education or community education
Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with students, employees, and community members of all backgrounds
This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs
Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally
Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally
This position requires the employee to be a resident of the State of Colorado and perform all work duties within the state
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
