Epic Application Analyst Associate (S)
SSM Health is a healthcare organization seeking to start careers in healthcare IT. As an Epic Application Analyst Associate, you will support and maintain Epic tools used by clinicians, troubleshoot issues, and improve workflows across various departments.

Responsibilities
Provides routine maintenance of Epic applications and systems using existing internal processes, policies, and procedures
Troubleshoots and resolves basic Epic application issues and provides end user support. Escalates issues appropriately to application team members
Assists the team in analyzing Epic vendor software updates and tests updates according to scripts
Codes for Epic application including building application tables and reports
Assists with updating testing scripts to incorporate ongoing system development and implementations
Builds requirements for configuration and business process changes
Follows tasks as assigned in project plans for routine projects to support meeting milestones and timeframes. Performs standard system testing, both unit and integrated
Organizes requirement specifications, using data, diagrams, and flowcharts to inform decision-making
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
No experience required
As part of the Associate Analyst role at SSM, candidates are required to obtain Epic certification within the first six (6) months of employment. Associates will be provided with up to three (3) attempts to successfully pass the Epic certification exam
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc
Frequent keyboard use/data entry
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs
Rare climbing
None required professional license and/or certifications
