Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple client entities
Process multi-state payroll
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts
Prepare financial statements and accounting schedules
Track and deliver client work using project management tools
Onboard and train clients on accounting software and procedures
Maintain proactive, professional client relationships
Assist with cleanups, migrations, and special accounting projects
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with QuickBooks online is required
Experience managing bookkeeping for 10–15 clients at once
3+ years handling multi-state payroll
2+ years preparing multi-state sales tax returns
Strong understanding of accrual accounting
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently and remotely
Preferred
Experience with Xero preferred
Experience with SaaS, medical, spa, or franchise businesses is a plus
