Research Scientist
SoTalent is seeking a Research Scientist specializing in oncology immunotherapy to contribute to cutting-edge discovery projects focused on innovative cancer treatments. This role involves leading laboratory research, collaborating across teams, and mentoring junior scientists while advancing novel therapies toward clinical milestones.

Responsibilities
Design and execute mechanistic in vitro and ex vivo studies to understand the therapeutic mechanisms of Vδ1 T-cell–based immunotherapies
Lead laboratory research efforts, developing and optimizing cell-based assays, and evaluating potential therapeutic candidates
Isolate, culture, and expand Vδ1 γδ T-cells from blood and perform functional assays assessing cytotoxicity, survival, and proliferation
Assess immune cell function using multiparametric flow cytometry, multiplex cytokine assays, and molecular biology techniques
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to align research goals with clinical development milestones
Contribute to the evaluation of novel cell engagers and immunotherapeutic strategies targeting Vδ1 T-cells
Mentor junior scientists and provide technical guidance on complex cell isolation and assay development processes
Prepare detailed technical reports, manuscripts, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure compliance with institutional research and safety standards
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Biology, Cancer Studies, Immunology, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of research experience in oncology immunotherapy or related areas
Expertise in Vδ1 γδ T-cell biology, including isolation, expansion, and gene engineering
Proven experience designing and executing in vitro and ex vivo immunological assays
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional and interdisciplinary teamwork
Preferred
Experience with immune cell engineering and evaluation of cell-based immunotherapies
Familiarity with regulatory documentation and preparation of scientific reports for clinical programs
Track record of publication and contribution to the development of innovative cancer immunotherapies
