Start in 2026 SummerGeneral Dynamics Information Technology, through Praxis Engineering, is seeking top performing college students for their Summer 2026 Software Developer Internship. This internship offers hands-on experience in areas such as Full-Spectrum Cyberspace Operations, Data Science/Machine Learning/AI, and High-Performance Computing, where interns will work closely with experienced mentors on software projects.

Responsibilities
Building hands-on experience with modern software and technologies
Learning best practices in the software development lifecycle and how to work efficiently as a team
Creating and delivering professional-grade demos and presentations – critical skills for well-rounded engineers
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of education towards a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or similar Engineering degree (we will consider strong candidates from any major with at least 1 year of Computer Science coursework)
Demonstrated experience and/or training in software development and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript
Demonstrated experience and/or training in software design/development best practices and methodologies
Passion for solving complex software engineering problems, continuously learning, and working effectively in a collaborative team environment!
Interest in developing engineering soft skills like demoing, building presentations, and public speaking
US Citizenship required
Must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI with POLY clearance
