They are seeking a Senior Digital Strategy Consultant to develop a comprehensive digital roadmap and evaluate technology solutions for an electrical distributor undergoing significant transformation, including ERP implementation and organizational redesign.

Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive digital strategy that addresses both customer-facing and internal operational needs
Build stakeholder engagement and buy-in, particularly with resistant sales leadership
Evaluate and recommend specific technology tools and solutions appropriate for the business model and NetSuite implementation
Create a practical implementation roadmap with clear priorities and timelines
Narrow down the vast field of available technology tools to specific recommendations based on the company's architecture and business needs
Bridge the gap between IT capabilities and business needs to ensure technology investments deliver measurable value
Identify opportunities for efficiency gains in the quote-driven business model
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure success of digital initiatives
Provide guidance on where the permanent Digital Director role should sit organizationally and what skills will be needed for implementation
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in digital strategy, business transformation, or management consulting
Experience consulting with distribution businesses or similar industry sectors
Experience leading digital strategy/transformation engagements with middle market sized organizations
Strong understanding of ERP implementations (NetSuite experience a plus) and how to integrate digital solutions with core business systems
Experience evaluating and recommending technology solutions specific to quote-driven businesses
Track record of successfully driving digital adoption in organizations with traditional or change-resistant cultures
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders
Experience working with senior leadership teams to build consensus around digital initiatives
Knowledge of current digital tools and technologies relevant to distribution businesses
Strong analytical skills with ability to build business cases that demonstrate ROI in low-margin businesses
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
