Responsibilities

Support the investment team with data-driven insights related to the firm's corporate liquid investments for its mutual fund, hedge fund (long and short), and insurance balance sheet
Responsible for new idea generation, analysis, and development and maintenance of financial models on new and existing corporate investments, including bank loans, bonds, preferred stock and common equity

Required

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Experienced in market research and data analysis with sector expertise in alternative financials like BDCs, REITs, alternative consumer lenders, etc. a strong preference but flexibility to be a generalist is a must
Experience investing in stressed and distressed securities a plus
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant experience in the investment industry of 3 to 5 years
