Responsibilities
Serve as lead coordinator for the department’s senior capstone program
Ensure consistent student experience and outcomes for all capstone projects
Identify industry projects for student participation
Support course instructors to ensure ABET required standards are met
Pursue and foster industry relationships to create opportunities for student engagement
Teach the capstone lecture and typically one other course each semester
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. degree or a master's degree with at least 10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field
Passion for hands-on teaching
Strong communication skills to motivate students in a dynamic, interactive environment
Ability to effectively engage students
Preferred
Extensive industry experience in engineering roles
