The role involves prospecting potential customers, qualifying leads, and maintaining relationships to foster loyalty and future sales while managing client support and communication effectively.

Responsibilities

Prospecting – Identifying potential customers who might benefit from your product or service
Lead Qualification – Evaluating leads to determine their fit and likelihood of conversion
Initial Outreach – Making contact through emails, calls, or social media to spark interest
Needs Analysis – Understanding the prospect’s pain points and goals to tailor solutions
Pitching/Sales Presentation – Showcasing your product’s value in a way that resonates with the customer
Objection Handling – Addressing concerns and removing barriers to purchase
Negotiation – Finding mutually beneficial terms to finalize the deal
Closing the Sale – Sealing the agreement and ensuring a smooth transition for the customer
Follow-up & Relationship Building – Maintaining contact to foster loyalty and future sales
Performance Evaluation & Improvement – Assessing metrics to refine strategies and optimize results
Travel is 50% (approximately 8 nights per month)
Communicate to sales leader all critical information relevant to Turf / Territory in real time in OHI’s NetSuite CRM
Update manager weekly on call schedule and Sales funnel status using OHI’s NetSuite CRM
Participate in Weekly Conference Calls
Share all Competitive feedback with sales leader and team and note in NetSuite CRM
Meet every Quarter for Performance Appraisal with manager to review progress
Respond to customer e-mail and/or phone calls within 24 hrs. and log activity in NetSuite CRM
Train clients in the use of OHI technologies and products during product demonstrations
Promote Client education offered by OHI where appropriate with use of various clinicians/Central Casting program where applicable

Required to work during standard business hours with occasional overtime during busy seasons
Must use company-approved hardware/software and follow all data security and confidentiality protocols
Regular participation in virtual meetings, check-ins, and timely communication with team members is expected
Limited travel to attend meetings, trainings, or company events
High-performance environment with deadlines and interaction across departments
Frequent travel by car and/or air, including driving long distances, navigating various customer locations, and attending in-person meetings
Ability to sit for extended periods while traveling or working on a computer
Occasional standing and walking for prolonged periods during site visits, trade shows, or client meetings
Ability to lift, carry, and transport marketing materials, product samples, or equipment (up to approximately 25 pounds)
Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse for extended screen time, requiring focus and attention to detail
Visual acuity to operate a vehicle, use electronic devices, and review detailed documents
Verbal communication with clients, coworkers, and leadership in various environments (offices, manufacturing sites, outdoors, etc.)
Tolerating exposure to a variety of weather conditions when traveling or meeting clients in the field

Preferred

Post-secondary degree preferred
1-3 years of demonstrated success in a sales position
Experience with consultative selling within medical accounts preferred
