Responsibilities
Support external communications, including public messaging and organizational updates
Assist with outreach efforts to increase awareness of programs and initiatives
Help maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across digital platforms and materials
Contribute to social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement
Support visibility for programs, events, and campaigns through coordinated messaging
Assist with community engagement efforts, including responding to inquiries or feedback as appropriate
Track basic engagement metrics and support reporting or reflections (as required for academic credit)
Search engine optimization and assistance with ads optimization
Qualification
Required
Enrollment in or interest in marketing, communications, public relations, media studies, or related fields
Strong written communication skills with attention to clarity and tone
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital outreach
Interest in community impact, youth development, or nonprofit work
Reliable, self-motivated, and open to feedback
Preferred
Experience with tools such as Canva or Google Drive is a plus, but not required
