Responsibilities
Maintain general ledger accounting for the family office and related entities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Record journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and expense tracking
Reconcile bank, brokerage, and credit card accounts
Assist with cash management and cash flow tracking across entities
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and legal counsel
Assist with preparation of schedules and documentation for tax filings
Track fixed assets, investments, and intercompany transactions
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as the family office grows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting, family office, private investment firm, or closely held business preferred)
Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
High proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting systems required
High level of discretion and professionalism
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience with multi-entity accounting structures preferred
CPA or CPA-track a plus, but not required
