Responsibilities
Execute purchase orders for ingredients, packaging, and indirect materials
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to optimize cost, improve service, and reduce supply risk
Maintain pricing, contracts, and specifications in ERP and sourcing tools
Track commodity and supplier performance and flag risks or shortages
Partner with R&D & Marketing on ingredient and packaging approvals as well as change management
Support production scheduling and capacity planning with multiple co-manufacturers
Convert production forecasts into material requirements
Act as a day-to-day liaison for forecasts, POs, inventory, and material needs
Track yields, service levels, and waste of supplied materials
Assist with cost reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage inventory levels of raw materials and packaging across multiple warehouses
Reconcile inventory at ambient warehouses and manufacturing facilities, monitor aging where applicable, and help reduce excess and obsolescence
Work with Sr Director of Operations to coordinate inbound and outbound freight of materials with 3PL partners and co-manufacturers
Prepare weekly and monthly supply chain and procurement KPIs (supplier performance, purchase price variance, inventory turns, service levels)
Maintain accurate master data and transactional integrity in ERP / MRP systems
Document processes and help build scalable procurement and supply chain workflows
Support S&OP and cross-functional planning with data and analysis (without owning the forecast)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
2–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, or manufacturing (food or CPG preferred)
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency
Experience with ERP / MRP systems (Netsuite is a plus)
Highly organized with strong follow-through and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment
Preferred
Exposure to co-manufacturing or 3PL environments is a plus
