Responsibilities
Serve as primary contact for a portfolio of client accounting services clients
Oversee full-cycle accounting including AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
Manage month-end and year-end close processes for multiple clients
Provide strategic advisory services including cash flow management, KPI reporting, and operational insights
Supervise and mentor accounting staff and senior associates
Implement accounting systems and process improvements for clients
Collaborate with tax and audit teams to ensure seamless client service
Support business development and practice growth initiatives
Participate in client onboarding and systems implementation
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in client accounting services, outsourced accounting, or similar role
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar cloud-based accounting platforms
Experience with financial statement preparation and month-end/year-end close processes
Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
Experience supervising and mentoring accounting staff
Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
Knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP) and best practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
Preferred
CPA preferred (or working toward certification)
